Recovery for blepharoplasty is not painful and typically patients only use Tylenol or the like for pain management. Most of the downtime is “social,” meaning downtime is typically restricted by the patient’s desire to hide having had work done. Recovery is not very painful and incisions heal well around the eye. As for follow up, sutures will be removed in one week. Final results are seen once swelling has completely resolved within a few weeks.
