CO2 Fractional Laser (SmartXide DOT)
The SmartXide Dot C02 fractionated Laser can be used for wrinkle reduction, acne scar reduction, and skin damage removal on any part of the face including eyelids. It works by removing a customized pattern of dots from the skin surface. This differs from other laser skin resurfacing techniques, which typically removes the top layer of skin entirely. Treatment with SmartXide Dot CO2 Therapy results in very little down time – patients can apply make-up within a couple days after treatment. During treatment, the patient’s skin will tighten up to 20 percent. Only topical anesthetic is needed for the treatment.
Affirm
Facial Affirm Treatments are like a non-invasive face lift. Improvements in the skin complexion, including texture, pore size, and pigmentation often noted after the first treatment. With additional treatments, a collagen stimulation response (remodeling and new collagen synthesis) evolves over time and is typically associated with improvements in overall skin tone as well as softening of preexisting scars. Remarkably, improvements may continue to evolve even months after the last treatment. Patients generally need 6 treatments 3-4 wks apart.
Affirm- Dot CO2 Therapy
Affirm-Dot is a new resurfacing treatment program available developed by Silk Touch MedSpa, which combines treatments from Affirm and SmartXide Dot to provide some very exciting results.
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light)
IPL evens out the color and tone of skin. By targeting hemoglobin and melanin, IPL removes brown and red spots. Small spider veins and flat “age spots” also respond well. The procedure provides the best results when followed up with microdermabrasion after about a week.
Fat Transfer
Dr. Kerr harvests excess fat from areas such as the abdomen, flanks, hips or thighs and, after preparation, injected into areas of the body that need filling. This procedure combined with BOTOX® is often called the “Liquid Face Lift”.
