Dr. Brian Kerr
The Art of Medicine
Dr. Brian Kerr is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist who has been specializing in Cosmetic Medicine since 1999. He currently owns and operates Silk Touch Med Spa & Laser Center (Silk Touch Laser) serving Boise and Eagle, Idaho with his wife Susie. Dr. Kerr practiced as a partner of Boise Anesthesia Physician’s Association for 16 years at St. Al’s Hospital, serving as president of the group for several years. In 2008 he retired as the senior staff member in order to attend full-time to his aesthetic practice. He is a graduate of the University of Utah Medical School and specialized in a 3 year anesthesia residency at the world famous Mayo Clinic.
Over the years, as cosmetic technology has increased, Dr. Kerr has been at the forefront, bringing the latest and greatest technologies to Idaho. He was among the first to bring Laser Hair Removal to the valley in 1999 and has continued to add new technologies as they have developed over the years. In the past three years he has introduced Vaser Ultrasound assisted liposuction, combining it with Smartlipo for a better aesthetic outcome and DOT CO2 Fractional laser for skin resurfacing. Recently he has been the first provider in Idaho for the Pelleve RF for skin tightening procedure. Dr. Kerr has trained and consulted with doctors from around the country in his Smartlipo, Vaser, and Vibration Assisted Liposuction techniques as well as giving training in advanced botox, injectable and fat transfer techniques.
An accomplished artist, Dr Kerr specializes in watercolor, pencil drawings and sculpture. His paintings have often been displayed in St. Al’s Hospital and other venues. He has received numerous juried awards. His focus has been to offer cosmetic procedures gently and with unmatched artistic talent. Dr. Kerr has performed thousands of treatments to date. He uses his artistic eye and medical skill in determining the best approach for each client.

Using my skills as an artist an anesthesiologist with a cosmetic training, I treat each of my patients as a canvas, using an artist’s eye to sculpt areas of the body just as I can sculpt a piece of clay into a work of art.”
